Hey gang,

I baught a lot of 94 few month ago. I would like to know wich modelnis this and what is the value about. Thanks

You have a post-64 Winchester Model 94 Antique carbine, made from 1964-83 - which, besides the engraving scrolling on the receiver sides & gold-colored loading gate/saddle-ring, has a coating that resembles case colors, but is in reality a special (for that model only) coating.

Antique carbine. Made from post 64' till about 1983. Value probably around a post 64' regular carbine $6-700. An attempt to bring buyers back after the pre/post 64' changes to stamped parts and sintered metal receivers.

$6-700 for a post '64? Wow. That's a few hundred more than I'd shell out.

I didn't say he would get it, but I think it would be an easier sell than a Golden Spike or Klondike that sellers think are worth $1000+

Seems very high as last fall I got a great condition pre 64 on the ee for $525 shipped. My other one is a post 64 that was $475 shipped also great condition.

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe $500 shipped, Maybe.

I had one in really good shape , decent enough rifle . I sold it to a buddy for $ 400 . I would've asked $500 and taken $ 450 or there about from anyone else .
