This is a sterile dressing in a a tightly-sealed vacuum bag:

Its objective is to stop hemorrhaging and bandage wounds as first aid on the field. It is carried by every Israeli Army (IDF) soldier regularly on the field, in training and in combat, and even in office bases.Pad size- 4″x4″/ 10cmx10cm. Dressing length- 70″/ 88cm.In can be used for military or civilian purposes. It is an integral part of every first aid kit at home or at work. Be always prepared for emergency! Can be self-applied – meaning an injured person my treat himself using it.
Made in Israel.

They also make a self dissolving bandage impregnated with antibiotics likely not available as it's new.

I am amazed how cheap this dressing is compared to some of the wound dressings I apply in my practise for more chronic wounds.

They do work well, I had a chance to use one a few weeks ago along with later a quick-clot bandage and I can honestly say it saved the patients life from blood loss...he was stabbed in his upper abdomen close to his liver.

Pt ended up with quick clot gauze with isreali overtop and then a waist binder around that to hold it all in place while we went to work decompressing his lungs.

Is there any shelf life on these? If so how long? Thanks
