Stock Stag-10 Handguard weight??

As the title says I have a Stag 10 that I am shopping for a new handguard for.

What is the weight with barrel nut of the stock handguard???

I dont have a scale that would measure in this range, and I would rather not pull everything off. Hoping one of you knows.

The GI model, I think it was 16” length handguard measured about 1.2 pounds on my little fish scale with nut. Should ball park an idea for you.

The stock 16.5" Stag HG is 495 grams with barrel nut and hardwear. It is fairly heavy compared to other aftermarket options.

I have a V7 Weapon Systems 15" Magnesium Hyper-Light on my Stag 10. It weighs 255.4 grams with barrel nuts and mounting screws. It is very nice, but not cheap.

Where did you get it, Mileageman? Is it flush with the Stag upper receiver?
