Anyone had any experiences with these? Are they available in Canada?
I have a chance to buy one from a friend. The price is "whatever you think is fair". It is 6x24x40 mill dot with ao (in great shape) I would put it on my savage .22
Thanks

Probably robust enough to withstand the recoil of a .22lr. I haven't used one, but it seems to me I have heard so many people complain of BSA scopes I'd not be comfortable putting one on anything with as much recoil as a common deer caliber.

BSA = Bought S**t Again.

Based upon my unhappy experience with two BSA scopes, I wouldn't give him more than $30. Even that is excessive if you were planning to use it anything other than a .22.

I have a BSA 24X fixed, AO. I got it shipped from the states for about $96 all in from an E-Bay store. I haven't mounted it yet but the resolution seems pretty good. I can't tell you how it will stand up but a friend has one on a .223 that he has put hundreds of rounds thru without a problem.

I would reccomend buying it for $50 or so....I have one (6-24 AO mildot). It lived on my 50BMG for about 200 rounds and is still OK. Not great optics however. Friend had one ( a 3-9, Catseye I think) that he put on a 7mm Rem Mag. First shot busted it.
