Anschutz 1710 HB or D HB

Anschutz bench rifles and target rifles all have two stage triggers that adjust down into the low ounces. The two stage 5109 trigger is set from the factory at 1000 grams (about 35 ounces) and can be adjusted from a low of 800g (28 ounces) to 1100g (38 ounces). The single stage 5096 D trigger has an adjustment range of 1000 to 2000 grams and is set at 1200 grams (42 ounces). It is possible to reduce the trigger pull weight of each trigger to a low of 8 ounces with a spring change. Many Anschutz shooters get the springs from J&P Products. Other springs can be used but it's not always easy to find springs to match the original springs which are narrower on one end than the other. A pull weight of about 8 ounces is the lowest to which either trigger can be reduced.

Looking at the Anschutz site I was thinking the same thing. Those two stage triggers are not the same as the target guns. This is good to know I can change the spring out. Thanks grauhanen, that was the info I needed.
