Not an odd question. The only Gen 5s on the market right now are in 9mm. Wonder when the next gen 10mms will hit the market.

With the death of the 40S&W, and the defeat of the 45ACP, the 9mm is the only way to go these days.

It's not an odd question. It's been years since they released anything other than 9mm.

But basically yes the other working calibres have fallen by the wayside, and of course Glock does only make handguns for professionals and other practical use people. My original reply was in light of the fact that they make models in the other calibres and show no signs of stopping.

Yes, but nothing NEW has been released since Gen 4 in the other calibers.

The model 20 and 40 in 10mm are quite popular in the US. At the least, I would think Glock is looking at updating these models as many of the Gen 5 mods would seem like logical improvements to guns frequently used for hunting (e.g marksman barrel).

I'd be all over a 20 and 21 if they came out with Gen 5's. I just can't get into the finger grooves and I'm not about to start sanding them off.
