Finally managed to put the first 100 rounds through mine last week. Middle of the road build - IBI 223 wylde barrel, Geissele SSA-E trigger, mix of Geissele/BCM/Magpul/Phase 5 parts.
Zero failures, everything worked well. The front takedown bolt stayed tight, and I saw absolutely zero wear anywhere when I pulled it apart to clean.
My gen 3 Magpul 5/30 and CPD pistol mags all seated and dropped free with no issues. My two Hera mags would only drop free when fully loaded. Bolt catch worked on every mag.
Crappy bulk AE 55gr grouped between 2.2-2.5 inches at 100 (5 shot groups), roughly 0.5" better than it did in the WK with the same scope and trigger, but the SE isn't great for precision shooting. Didn't get time to put better ammo through it, but it will be minute of coyote to 300 yards on crappy ammo, which I'm happy with. Ryan at IBI was adamant that his barrel will do better than moa on good ammo, assuming I can do my part. Only time will tell.
Considering the issues some have had, including an owner with a serial number within 10 of mine whose receiver was a mess, I'm pretty happy with it. Mine had an undersized gas tube hole in the upper, but the machining was otherwise fine.
Now to figure out what to build with my spare upper. Was 80% decided on a light-ish 6.5 Grendel build, but TNA bringing in 458 Socom barrels has my interest. I may need a spare spare upper...
Who’s received rifles from Gunworx’s second preorder? Anyone?
(Crickets)
There seems to be a lot of armchair speculation and little practical experience with these. Anyone want to chime in? Any issues? Round counts? etc? (build photos are always nice too)

I built 2 so far. I have probably 500rds through mine. Some mags are tight, some just fit, none are loose. Mine went together without issue, ran right out of the gate, second one as well but the barrel went in kinda tight, same barrel, it has a looser magwell though, mags that wont fit in mine fit it no problem. Finish is ok, ano seems kinda thin, couple machine marks. I have no complaints.
Here's my latest build. It's a 7.62x39 with an IBI barrel bought from RWA. Only 80 rounds of Hornady 123gr SST through it so far for function test but all went well. More good ammo on order as I'm not going to run surplus through it.
But this build is only temporary until I get another MS receiver set to put the parts into.

What BCG are you using in 7.62x39?
I picked up two more receivers, one around #570 and one near #595, BOTH of them had undersize gas tube holes. A gas tube measures .180", my receiver near #460 had a .182" hole, these two measured .169". This was measured with a set of number size drills, and I very much know how to measure something. I checked the bolt catch pin holes with the same method and they were perfect, along with the dust cover pin holes. The undersize gas tube 'cloverleaf' is a real thing. I solved the non-critical issue and am moving on with assembly.
No.Are the marks normal?
Was it the retailer or MacDef that told you to stick the barrel in the freezer?
Just got my reciever set 6## series serial number.
I tried to install my barrel today and it would only go in a mm or 2.
I noticed/felt on the inside of the receiver where the barrel slides in that there is a raised line:
you can see in this picture:

ive been advised to put the barrel in a freezer for four hours and to heat up the receiver and then try with tons of grease.
Would lapping the upper receiver also help with fit?
