Load recipes for 38 Special 148 and 158 grain projectiles

for plated 148gr Campro bullets, I've had the most consistent results working up loads using Bullseye. I ransom rest test loads at 50m working up loads for my S&W 64 that's been customized for PPC. My best groups were with 2.8gr's of Bullseye at ~4"s with mixed brass and 2.5" with sorted brass and weighed bullets.

I'm now experimenting with coated bullets from X-Metal, and also lead HBWC's from BDC :)

I started working up some loads with Campro 158gr TC bullets for my S&W model 15 (going to try shooting Distinguished this year).

Haven't had time to ransom rest test it, but 10m groups look promising

I pushed those same bullets with 8gr's of Longshot out of my 686 @ 995fps and they group just fine, although with a 4.2" barrel and red-ramp front sight I wasn't really shooting for accuracy lol.

Your attachments don't work.

I use Xmetal 158gr coated bullets for my .38 and I love them, very accurate with little to no leading.

those are great too. I found 3.4gr of Bullseye gave me the same ~725fps as the 3.8gr of Bullseye under the Campro 158gr TC. Similar accuracy too at 10m
