I've been looking for a while now for a decently priced($1,000 or less, ideally) 22lr thats a left hand bolt with a heavy barrel. So far I've found the Savage Mark 2 BTVSS (thumb hole/laminate) or "entry" level Anschutz that start at $1,300+. Did CZ ever make one? Or is there a company that I am missing? I own a LH CZ452 Lux, but Ideally, I'd have one with the heavy barrel.

Browning T Bolt Sporter LH available at Epps. Check it out on Brownings site. I think it's about as heavy a 22 barrel you'll find. I just bought the A17 Sporter and my buddy bought the A17 with a bull barrel and they're both the same size. .610 ish with a caliper.
The varmint version is RH only.

CZ did not make a Varmint in LH. Only the 452 American and Lux. If you can find a rare LH Anschutz MPR on the EE that might just be the ticket.

CZ 452 was built in LH with a medium heavy barrel in the "American" stock:

Is that a left hand CZ 452 American? Or are you saying that CZ made a barrel other than the standard American profile barrel for the left hand American receiver and stock?

Try reading it again:)

If this refers to my questions, perhaps you could be so kind as to explain it for me.

I'm thinking it's either a LH CZ 452 American with the same pencil barrel as other Americans or it's an American receiver/stock with a non-standard (for a CZ American) barrel. If I were to wager on it, I'd say it has the standard American profile barrel, the slimmest of the CZ 452 line. I could be wrong, of course.

What do you think it is?

Browning is either in production of the T-bolt varmint in left hand. Or, they have just recently completed their run of these rifles. The stock has a bit of a raised cheek piece on it, and a slightly thicker barrel profile over the regular T-Bolt rimfire. So it's accessible and will be in Canada very soon.

Comparing my .455 Canadian to my 455 Military Trainer, the .455 has a bit heavier profile. It is not a bull or varmint barreled rifle.

Accuracy wise, one is no better than the other; my 452 Lux is lighter yet.

I had torally forgotten that Browning makes one.... My only down side is the fact it is a push/pull style bolt, not my cup of tea.... It sounds like the only real option left is an Anschutz....

What rifle is shown in the photo? Is it a LH CZ 452 American? Something else?

As a southpaw I gotta say that’s a beautiful looking rifle.

They shoot as fine as they look! As soon as you pick one up, you notice how solid they are; when you work the action, how precise they are. My 452 also has one of the most highly figured pieces of Turkish walnut I have ever seen!

A Cooper LVT in left hand should qualify as decent.
I shoot a Anschutz 1727 in left-hand and it certainly has a heavy barrel but the OP says he does not care for the straight pull system.
It is a bit of a disappointment to me that Anschuz does not make a 54 action sporter in left- hand.
