$700.00 PLUS TAX AND SHIPPTIG ILL PASS! Pulled one apart and had it hard chromed it was only $300.00 and change.

your forgetting the point, sometimes its not about making the rifle yourself...sometimes it is about buying the item for what it is. A rifle from Chinese Honour Guard troops could be a unicorn rifle for some. Some may find it significant due to heritage, exclusivity or obscurity. I bet these will be popular in store.

Are these legit? Or just made to look like an honor guard rifle? This pic shows rifles with no black on the bayo or front sight, and the stocks look much nicer?

I can't afford one either.

I hear ya - hopefully these are not clones - they don't look like the ones in the picture - going to ask Google he knows everything

"These rifles are still in use by the Chinese Honor Guard. Many parts of the rifles have been chromed with a few altered components such as a wider handguard ferrule and a cupped buttplate assembly. Only a very limited number of these rifles were imported and the exact numbers are currently unknown. A certificate of authenticity accompanied these rifles with purchase which are stamped with a red star stating China North Industries Corporation, the rifles serial number, and the date certified. "

They are legit, at least that's what we were informed from our supplier. Guessing norinco might have slightly difference between each production years.

There are a couple pics of what appears to be the rifles being sold. It's possible that there are several versions of these rifles, perhaps slightly different in each province. In a country of over 1 billion people there is likely several groups of honour guard troops.

Russian troops are intimidated by the Chinese Chrome rifles, instead they show off their shiny necks

If you want to move them, post an actual picture of them, don't be shy

I believe that the picture in the first post is of one of the rifles for sale. I'd expect to see heavy wear on the wood and ok metal finish. I'm convinced these are the real thing and are a must for an SKS collection. Chances are these have super nice bores if they spent their entire lives as parade rifles.

the promo picture might be slightly different from the actual item due to product enhancement, photos from our website are more accurate.
