Got a Stag-10 6.5 creedmoor in route. Fearing a typical bad AR trigger. Any of you found a good replacement that will drop in that will be below $300? Looking for 3-4 lb range.

I have the Hiperfire Hipertouch ECLipse. It's actually scary how good this trigger is. I think it would go off if a fly landed on it. It has definitely improved my trigger discipline lol

My finger does not detect any movement whatsoever before the gun goes off. The gun goes off before the trigger moves. I have the green springs installed. Like griffin86, I love the Hiperfire finger pad.

I have a Geissele SSA-E in mine that I like. They go on sale for $180 USD at Brownells from time to time and you can usually find a $15 off coupon that active as well.

Another vote for the Geiselle SSA-E which I installed on both my AR15 and AR10.
The trigger is so good that I somewhat prefer to a factory Tikka T3x trigger set to 2lbs.

Geissele G2S in mine, almost the same as the SSA just not laser etched or spot checked for quality; it's also cheaper.

I have a SSA in my AR15 and they look and feel exactly the same to me.

Both the G2S and SSA are 4.25 - 4.75 lbs, so maybe a little heavy for your taste.

I had the same in mine but it wouldn't reliably. It's too bad because in my opinion there isn't much better than that.

I also meant to ask. Does the Stag-10 use a small pin style for their trigger? I see some Hiperfires are stating that they will only work with a small pin style receiver. Im guessing that there are 2 different pin diameters when it comes to AR-10 vs AR-15? Just want to make sure that I order the right one.

The stag is small pin trigger- pins. They are .154".

Most modern lowers are all small pin. Old colts had large pin holes and that's why they specify small pin on the trigger

Perfect. thanks to everyone for their suggestions. Went with the Hiperfire Elite. Canada Ammo gave me a good deal.

RAConnol - A nice build and some solid shooting. Thanks for sharing.

I'm guessing that you don't bring the cheek riser up past flush? It doesn't look like the charging handle would clear it otherwise? Setup looks just a little low in the pics, but obviously all our natural point of aims are different.
