Obviously. Like on an HK P7. People who put suppressors on them report an unpleasant amount of gas in the face.
I didn't find that personally. A can on a P7 really makes little difference to the operation of the gun. It does somewhat limit the amount of suppression possible as the gas system tends to bleed noise.

Great pic. When I said "people who put" perhaps I should have said "people on the Cult of the P7 who talk about putting" - that's where I got the info. I'll take your word as having more weight.
 
Had a chance to fire a few rounds through a brand new one of these this past weekend.

HUGE when compared to my M&P40, especially when quick shooting - transitioning steel, but it felt/shot real nice.
