how much does your P226 weigh?

OK, I have a few different P226 pistols and some of them obviously weigh more because they have stainless steel frames, I have an X5, an LDC and an X5 short, (heavier guns,) but this one is just a regular P226 and it only weighs 31.25 ounces? The magazine is in it… Aren't these supposed to weigh 34 ounces?
I can see 1/2 ounce one way or the other but this is quite a bit of a difference. I was really bored last night and thought I would weigh some guns, so I just wondered if anybody else finds same thing ... (tested the scale and it works perfectly, exact )

In the standard p226 there may be a few ounces difference between the West German vs U.S made pistols as there is wider cut out in the frame on the Us for the wider trigger plus a few other minor things. Also some mags are lighter than others.....
 
You’re assuming that the manufacturer specs are correct. Maybe one of the versions weighs 34 ounces and they just went with that. Tikka specs their barrels in metric and imperial. Funny thing when they spec inches you get weird measurements like 23-2/5”.

Weighing my guns was just something I did out of the blue, I just found it kind of odd that it will be that far off…
