Any in the know (that can offer help) as to what the best precision stock one should get for a T3X to alter the rifles role from hunting to precision.

Also, anyone with experience with the GRS Bifrost. Or better yet a German Gun Stock Ranger.

I have had several Tikka rifles in various different stocks over the years, my current CTR sits in a McMillan A3 adjustable. I prefer this stock because when I get in behind it, it just fits me, it feels right to me. I had the GRS, it was okay but it is a plywood stock and if I am going to use that sort of stock I will get a Boyd's Pro varmint for far less money. The German Gun Stock is really nice, but again plywood but it is covered in a fibreglass shell so it is pretty solid and should be mostly impervious to the elements.

I have a T3 Tik Tac right now that is homeless, no stock. I have a buddy with a spare GGS that I might get from him and run with that for now, but I would want to change the bottom inlet for a CTR set up. Or I might just go whole hog and buy another McMillan A3 adj, that way it feels the same as my other T3.

Lots of options out there. When talking GRS money, well, they have really gone up in cost. While I love my GRS equipped Tikkas, their current $$$ made me look elsewhere.

McMillan was in the running as was MDT etc.

However, I wanted a Prec Rifle to fit well, have plenty of customizable accessories as there is not a one fits all solution... or was there>?
I ended up choosing KRG. It was the best choice for me.

Looking at the catalog, it was like WOW!!!! A Chassis where you can order what accessories you want, how many of them, and configure the rifle in many diff configurations. Like a LEGO set... want an ARCA rail? order one, want more pic rails, check, many many option.

I went with the BRAVO from KRG and could not be happier. Their full length extruded Aluminum bedding channel is rock solid, and the build quality is very good.

Here is a thread I started, and a number of people have uprated their Tikkas, and are VERY satisfied with their purchase.

Full disclosure, I do not work for KRG or GBT, but GBT has been very good to myself and other members on their purchases. Highly recommended.
