Hey,

I wanted to get this as short as possible while staying NR. Its got an 8" Dlask barrel and XB-5 Linear comp. I gave it a shorter 7" handgaurd and a magpul fixed carbine stock with extended buttpad. This shortened it to 26.25".

Caveat, all of the testing so far has been from the old dremelled stock with only a chin weld not a proper cheekweld.

I was never a fan of the Magpul ones originally, I thought they looked like something out of a mall ninja video game and were in the perfectly awkward zone between a traditional stock and pistol grip. But they have slowly won me over and I have them on a number of rifles and shotguns now. I'm going to have to keep an eye out for one now that I've seen yours. Cheers!

Nice rifle, I have a blued laminate international model, I highly suggest you pick up a Williams 10/22 peep sight and an aperture front sight if you can find one. The 10/22 Williams comes with a high front sight which is necessary but i lucked out at a gunshow and found an aperture with inserts instead. My rifle shoots beautifully and is by far my favorite .22 in the cabinet.
