Good day CGN, missed my opportunity today to purchase a Stag 10 L2/LH because I didn't know enough about the rifle to make the purchase online, I look this morning on ARMSEAST and it was gone! don't want to miss my chance again. Can any owners tell me what is ambi on this rifle?

Ambidextrous Bolt Release?

Ambidextrous Safety Selector?

Ambidextrous Magazine Release?

Ambidextrous Bolt Hold Open?

Since we are limited on our choices of NR rifles here in Canada. Would this be a good choice for something I can use for hunting and competition compared to other NR platforms that are available.

Just purchased my first AR. Requested a call prior to shipment, want to ask about magazine's. Thanks again for your time and consideration, I really appreciate it. I am going to stay positive and pray it wasn't a miss print.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, seems more than most gravitate towards this rifle in the N/A category over others. The craftsmanship and warranty's nice as well, and it's a Lefty!. Now I have 1 rifle for two jobs, hunting, and 3 gun. Hope your part pops up, stay positive there more on the way! :)

Stag is well know for left handed AR stuff.

Not exactly. The ejection and safety are left-handed.
The charging handle, mag release and bolt release are standard right-handed.
With two hands a lefty can operate it effectively. But a lefty should consider a Norgon mag release and Raptor charging handle.

You're welcome.

You can look at SFRC (15% off promo) and Canada ammo for the Raptor and Magpul mags and parts.

The second link is for AC / AICS bolt action rifles.
The first link is good, price a bit high. Yes should work as well as the shorter PMAG.
 
Your awesome WP24 thanks for the direction, so if I understand correctly about the magazines and there differences. The stag 10 would use the short action pmag and not the long action pmag?.
This will be the last question, it wouldn't be fair to ask more of time. TY

.308 / 7.62x51 is short action.
