latest upper/lower Mystery box ... contents revealed?

Checked tracking and my mystery set should be here Monday.. My shipping instructions also say bcl so we will see. I've had nothing but good luck with all my nea lowers and frankly I think they look awesome! Glad TNA did this for us. I've bought/built/sold many ar's and currently don't have one in the safe so this is a good way to have one on register in case the Prince gets his way.

sad I missed this one. I have not had great luck with BCL bolt (wrong bolt in my gun) but both lowers I have purchased have been beautiful, with zero fit issues, one has a 7.62 upper and the other a colt integrated upper.

The RCMP ruined my mystery box! Received my transfer notice today and without thinking I opened it and now I know the make of the receiver before I get to open the mystery box!

Ordered 27 May, received shipping notification 5 June, received transfer notice today. Expected delivery date 12 June.

Ordered May 28th (BC). Shipped June 5th, received transfer notice today, June 6th. BCL15. Can't say I'm surprised. Not upset but slightly disappointed. If it fits, no big deal. If it doesn't, no big deal, just slight annoyance at my impulse.

When they offered the "mystery", they were either taking the fear and helping the community or using it to blow out crap inventory that would never sell under normal conditions. I hoped it was the former but suspected it would be the latter. As a business person, I don't begrudge it at all.

Anyone saying they were just trying to get as many ARs in people's hands as possible...if that were the case, they would have just said what they were, they would have sold anyway. Probably for less though.

So I think the mystery had been solved :)
Does anyone have experience with the NEA/BCL receiver set? How much of a difference is having a receiver built from 6061 t6 aluminum have compared to milspec 7075 t6? Will it matter if one adds a decent BCG and barrel?
Did I panic buy a registered paper weight? LOL
