When cycling the action, bottom of the BCG is quite rough and creates a lot of friction when sliding over the hammer... The feeling is VERY rough and creates so much friction to the point of occasionally binding and stopping the bolt from going home under spring tension alone. After just a dozen or so cycles I can see a small amount of accumulated material on the bottom of the BCG that wore off from where it slides against the hammer.

Is this normal and will it wear in / smoothen out with time?

I haven;t seen that with mine.. I don't think any gun should be like that??

It sounds like the parts were poorly deburred after manufacture. If I were you I'd probably pull the hammer out and stone the edge causing the grinding until the problem stopped. That said the hammer should be pushed down a small amount by the bolt to ensure that it catches on the sear properly. You may also want to smooth out the bottom of your bolt. You may also want to check with the distributor before doing this in case it violates warranty.

Sniper_485 Not a good idea to promote home gunsmith repairs with the less informed, especially removing material from components. Modifications=void warranty....

Followed the link to wriggle repair.

Went to T & T Auto Parts and bought a couple of oil resistance O rings. Installed them on the WK180-C - PERFECTION no movement between upper and lower receivers. :dancingbanana:

Glad I did it, would have bugged me.

Or even tin foil for a quick fix

I only used 1 and it works! You installed 2? Where? I put 1 around the lug.

I received my new bolt carrier group with threaded bolt, but I sent my whole thing only to be missing my bolt because I did not remove the bolt so I wait again, o.k patient is the name of the game for me.

Hi, I received my bolt in no time, now the frustration, I now have to install it but I might have to ask for a video how to do it.

There is a video on you tube showing how to put the bolt carrier group back to gather. Just type in Wk180c you will see some videos there. There is one showing how the carrier group comes apart

Hi,

I just received my WK180-C today and all looks great with one possible exception, the Upper/Lower Receiver Tolerances and Fit.

The hinged front of the Upper/Lower Receiver is tight.

However, the rear of the Upper/Lower Receiver with the guide rod assembly (Separation button) fully engaged, can move up and down a couple of millimeters.

Is this normal for the WK180-C, or do I have an alignment/tolerance problem?

Has anyone else experienced this with their rifles?

Wolverine were closed for the day when I called, left a message on their answering machine.

I have a video of the movement and can e-mail or attach to text message for you to view, PM with e-mail address or phone number.

Feedback welcome.

Mine does the same, doesn’t seem to affect the option of the rifle. However if you put a o-ring around the lug
On the bottom of the upper receiver, it’s suppose to stop that.

Tonight I tried to take apart my wk 180 c and clean it for the first time, after taking out the charging handle and the guide rods and springs the bolt carrier slid forward and will now no longer retract or come out to the point where I can reinsert the charging handle. It seems to be getting caught on the upper receiver.

Please advise what I should do? Basically, it is stuck in the upper receiver and can move back and forward but not enough to put the charging handle back in or remove the whole BCG

Have you checked to see if the cam pin on the bcg is seated in the receiver properly, and isn't snagging on something?

Quick question....can you use grease on the bolt assembly...specifically where it rides in the grooved channel?? Or would oil be enough.

For those of you have have removed/replaced the stock adapter block, is the locating dowel on the receiver or the adapter block?

In the early production pictures, it appears to be on the receiver. On my rifle, the dowel is on the stock adapter block.
Looking at pictures of the RWA ACR stock adapter, it has two holes and no dowel.

Anyone knows the ejector roll pin, B8?

I only see a hole...no pin there. Did they remove it on the new productions? Actually my rifle could function without the pin...

Thanks!!

Disassembled mine to design an adapter for the CZ folding stock.

Pin is on the adapter block. It is pressed in as you can tell it has stressed the anodizing around the hole.
