Nice, how much for the pouches? I likes!

I buyed a Savage Lee Enfield no4mk1/3(FTR) with a excellent 5 grooves barrel from MLDR ealier this month, sorry no pics :(..

Fired it yesterday for the first time and let me say that this lady is a REALLY nice shooter :D (but i'll need to make a tool to change the angle of the front sight, she is shooting just a little bit to the left) !

Oh yeah..and the trigger..dear God,"The" trigger is just so smoooooth and sweet  !!! And i'm not the only one who noticed it ;)..

So far,i think that for my first rifle i couldn't buy anything better,i'm a lucky man :D !

Klunk, could I request an updated picture of your collection?
What I mean, is a picture of your gun room, but updated for all your toys?
The old picture doesn't give you enough credit...your balls might fall off if you don't show them off!

My Double Claw

This is a sporter re-militarization project that I've had in the works for about 2 years now. Its a BCD 43 mixmaster. The receiver, bottom metal and barrel are all appropriate for a 43BCD, but nothing matches. The scope is marked Dr.A.Schroder, Kassel, Baldur 6x56. The optics are clear with a German 3 post reticle and the scope adjustment works. I had to re barrel it (Thanks EPP's), and I was luckey to find a barrel with the same code and year as the original(FN 43) with an almost perfect bore down south. I'll take it out to shoot next week after I bed the receiver as it seems a little loose in the stock.

Nice rifle Mark. Gustloff's are my favourite too, I've got a 43 and a 44 on the way, also a bSw, if you consider that Gustloff.

I've also got a solid front band, but it has a serial number on it that has been crossed out, no WaA's and the blueing is still nice. PM me if it'll suit your rifle.

Here is one of my August purchases. I got it off another CGN'er (but at the milsurps.com board). It is a '41 Port contract K98 with the identical serialed bayonet. Definitely one of the nicest I have had the pleasure of owning.

Now that August is almost over, and September's thread will be starting soon, here is a request on behalf of those of us with dial-up service - if you are going to quote a post, please don't quote the photos as well as the text.
