I've messed around with my old (1915) Savage "250-3000" over the course of a few years, and have at last come up with a load that it shoots very well. In the meantime, of course, I accumulated quite a collection of unused cartridges that just didn't work for me. Got busy this morning, pulled all the bullets, and removed all the powder, leaving myself with a bunch of primed cases.
Wondering now if I should remove the live primers, and resize the cases again, or just add the powder and seat the bullets I want to use ... I think I've done that in the past a couple times with other cartridges, but curious about what general practice is.
