ar bayonet?

If he wanted to sift through thousands of pages of s**t, he would have already gone to GOOGLE.

Instead he came here where most of us are happy to provide our knowledge and insight.

Incidentally I don't HAVE any knowledge or insight about AR15 bayonets.:D

But I bet someone does.

Guess what...? The wikipedia page for the M9 bayonet page was the 2nd hit when I typed in "M9 bayonet" into google. The other thing is bet you over 1/3 of the people on these forums who dont know the answer to someones question will google it for them and post it, because all CGN'ers are so nice like that :D

Oops. Sorry. I forgot about Wickepedia, our accurate, scientific and unbiased source of information.

Hey I'm just s**tting you all. ;) I just think this is an information site and new people shouldn't be "referred" elsewhere when I bet there's a thousand guys here with info and pics we would all like to see.

Get a USGI M9 bayo. Ontario and LanCay are both official US military suppliers.

pretty much any Army Surplus has bayonets, their always of great quality but eh?! what are you gonna do with it? make a steak?

check the yellowpages and see surplus near you.;)

One of my ARs is too short to stand in the safe without having the bayo attached. it's a vital, necessary component, that just happens to make the rifle look 27% cooler.

for a whole lot LESS MONEY you can also get an m7- it's your basic bayonet that came out with the original m16, just a different version of the basic bayonet m5, m6, whatever- it's not a "field knife" or wire cutter like the m9 - as far as being any good goes, you have to look at the country of origin as well as the steel of which it's made- there's all the way from reprocessed tin cans to top quality steel out there

The M7 is vietnam era and the M9 is todays bayonet. If you are into collecting.....M7's.....lots of different manufacturers. M9 have about 4 manufacturers and various design changes. Lancay has a web site. You used to get Lancay M9's at FT Lewis WA, but not much anymore....a controlled item....they count them! I started collecting them after Desert Storm, there was lots to choose from. then...used to new in the wrappers.
