Stock for M1 Garand - Where?

I'm looking to replace the stock on an M1 Garand. I'm looking for something in new condition, probably walnut and ideally with new hardware. I would not be opposed to something really classy looking like a Boyds stock. Anyone know where I can lay hands one in, preferably in Canada?

Last I checked, Boyd's ships direct to Canada.

If you’re not in a hurry, wait until July 4th and check Boyds then. They have often had a sale on USGI pattern stocks for the 4th of July.

I ordered a Boyd in walnut and the metal from a vendor in the U.S. My Garand is in a hokie synthetic stock that doesn't fit great and has a recoil pad instead of a butt plate - figured I might as well get all new parkerized stock metal to go with the nice stock. I think it's going to look pretty sharp!

Did you put some kind of clear coat on top of the Boyds finish? That's my next step...

No, that's just lots of BLO and buffing, I got the unfinished version.

I love BLO. Looks incredible and you've always got an excuse to pull the rifle out for some TLC because it can always use another coat.
