Armalite AR10 B 8" high

My Armalite AR10 .762x51 20"barrel shoots 8" high at 100yrds using stock sights.Pin in ft sight is as high as i can get it and is almost as high as the ears,rear is as low as possible.
Any suggestion

Flat top receiver?
Front sight housing pinned to the barrel or rail with detachable front sight?
Are these the sights that came with the rifle or added after?

Sounds like the front sight assembly is the wrong height and you have one intended for a rail the same height as the flat top receiver rail rather than one intended for a railed front gas block, which is lower. That sight assembly would appear taller when mounted to a rail on the same level.

What are you using for a rear sight?
Can you show a picture of the rifle?

Mount a scope and see if it can be dialed in, this will eliminate it being a barrel or barrel mounting issue.
