Full Autos

Stumble across two interesting items - Schmeisser confused MP40 and Thomson M1A1, on one of the sponsor's website.
They are both marked as "Full Automatic" action type, not "converted automatic". Both with pinned to 5 rounds magazines.
Unless there some mistake in markings of the action type, I'm giving up on understanding gun rules in this country.
Here we are - full auto submachine-gun with 5 rounds magazine - go figure!

Some belts, some magazines are specifically exempted from the magazine capacity restrictions.

Mag rules apply to all mag fed firearms, prohibs or not.
Shooting prohib firearms in Canada is like if the old tree fell to the earth in the middle of the forest and made some noise, however there was no one around to hear that noise. So did that tree actually made noise if no one heard it?

Shooting FA with a 5 round mag is a real bore after shooting with the "real" mag.

Especially if it's a Thompson with a drum... one of the most exciting things you can do with clothes on. (Best Christmas present ever was in college when an 07/SOT FFL friend invited me to come "apprentice" for a day and help test-fire a couple he'd just finished overhauling...)

Ya I’m Still kicking my self back in 97..98..when the lic stuff came out....went to police station....waited like 4 hours in line ...when I got to the lady filling out the paperwork...she asked me what lic do you want ..prohibitive..restricted or non.....I paused for like a min to think about it ....she said hurry up cause there’s a huge line up outside...I said non restricted........stupid me I should of said all three please .....hmmmmm
