Anyone used the Magpul detachable mag for rem 700?

Hey all, looking to upgrade my 700 with a detachable magazine baseplate and trigger guard.the Magpul one is 99$ and comes with a 10 round mag. Has anyone installed this? Would like to hear your thoughts.

Yep put a few of them in. They need a bit of trimming and stock will need inletting too but they work fine. Not as nice as a solid aluminum one but not the price either

I've heard it can take a little while to fit into a standard Remington stock.

It's literally less than a 10 Minute job to drop it in if you also do the Hunter stock.

Works perfect, no complaints!

It also lets you run other AICS patterned mags...so there are some additional options there as well (metal mags).

I bought the Magpul stock for my .223 Tactical so the Mags worked fine, never an issue.
