Thank you.
When, during the process of your app, did you call the Manitoba CFO?

Thank you.
When, during the process of your app, did you call the Manitoba CFO?

Usually when the online status says that the initial process has now completed and app is in progress. I would call around that time to see if u can get a time line of when its going to be sent to your cfo. If and when u get that info give it a week or so and call the cfo using there ext (manitoba was 8004) and go from there

I called a few minutes ago and she didn't know when my app will be sent to Alberta's CFO, it showed "initial process completed" since last week... i guess i'll give it a couple weeks and then i'll be phoning the alberta extension and see whats going on.

Im only applying for PAL atm.

Sent my RPAL renewal in beginning of May, logged in today to check status and it's approved. After the first week and a half I received a notice in the mail requesting documentation for my gun club membership.

Can you give me the detail of that notice requesting you to give a proof of a club membership ?
I think you can photocopy your membership card and send it by email to the RCMP

Would you mind sharing your detailed timeline and where you're applying from?

The notice came in the mail on RCMP letterhead, Chief Firearms Officer of Manitoba, Miramichi, etc.
Titled: "RE: Confirmation of Purpose"
Body says I'm required to declare the purpose of restricted firearms, choices can either be as a collector or for target shooting (no other options).
If I'm a collector, I need to request another form (I'm not)
If I choose target shooter, I needed to mail a photocopy of a valid range membership prior to having an ATT issued (presumably with RPAL renewal), no online delivery option provided
Indicated that my range must be CFO approved (presumably for handguns)
Last (and longest) paragraph explains legal obligations to provide the requested info and implications if I don't
Signed by Chief Firearms Officer of Manitoba

I'm not sure of the precise date of approval (hadn't checked since last week) but looks like 41-45 days from online application submission. I have not received the card in the mail yet.

Thanks, I did not receive my RPAL Physical Card Yet either my range membership card but I will try to send a photocopy of my range membership by email to the RCMP Email address. I saw on some forum that people did it that way and its fine. If I can save 2weeks of waiting I will try haha
