Licensed Gun Owners Fight Back !

Almost bought one but still on the fence. Love the idea but my range doesn't allow rifles so I can't justify a paperweight which might become a paperweight squared if prohibited.

Special thanks to all the great CGN-ers that were able to provide AR's and lowers to those who hadn't owned an AR15 yet at all. In the past few weeks, gunnutz that had spare lowers and AR's as backups for projects or future builds offered them up for sale to those of us without a registered AR, instead of hanging onto them and letting them collect dust in the safe.
A fantastic member sold both my father and myself two stripped lowers, and now we're in like flint.
The solidarity and willingness to spread the wealth is truly heartwarming. Thanks Rob! Thanks CGN-ers!

I didn't buy one due to ban scares.

But that is precisely why so many people went out and bought one, even people.that didn't really want or need one at the time, was to counter the "ban scares". And it appears to have worked.

What was the worse case scenario anyway? If they announced a ban, then either there is a buy-back program and you get your money back or you're grandfathered into a new prohib class and at some point you're think to yourself, "well gee am I glad I bought one when I had the chance!".

In the last 3-4 weeks was the time to "not hesitate" to buy an AR. Even if you didn't want or need one right now, for the cost of a stripped lower you could've added your voice to the thousands of others that told the Liberals to "back off!". It was all upside and no downside.

Well, hopefully they aren't banned and you don't regret not acting when you had the chance.

Circumstances are different for everyone, but for the cost of a bottle of scotch buy a stripped lower and throw it in your safe. Add to the numbers. As per Bad Lieutenant above, there is no downside and you support a cause. It may not make a difference, but doing nothing definitely won't,...... and your handguns are next.

Don't count our chickens before they hatch. I'm in the game with couple of ARs numerous semis auto rifles and handguns. With life experience bragging and being to sure of an outcome is not cool. Make sure all your friends and family vote for Sheer. If a confiscation happens ,I will not do anything to cause problems for my wife , son and daughter's future. If I was single I would have a different attitude.

Nothing wrong with goals and dreams, just keep in mind that not all are meant to be reached. Some are there as mere goals. Good luck to your kids, I hope and pray for a far better outlook then what I see now for them.

"This life that we live, if you have stopped long enough to notice is a constant loop of the same trials, tribulations, of humanity".

Things don't change if you constantly walk in a circle.

I'm in my 50s and have no wife or kids, or indeed anything in my life that would be jeopardized by a peaceful act of civil disobedience. Also, as a last resort I can FO to my country of birth or one other option.

Hold my beer.

All participants in this act of defiance toward Liberals are to be commended and cherished. However, there are those with smaller hearts that need our support and encouragement, those who cowered up and instead of joining the rest in our legal disapproval of liberal actions against us, they retreated with tails between their legs and decided to sell their AR's in fear that those will be confiscated in the future. These poor souls need all love and encouragement they could get from the rest of shooting community and maybe they might grow some...

Weak hands.
