Hey all,

I need a hand figuring out what aftermarket trigger I should put into my stag 10. I am not fully versed in the world of triggers, but I am looking for the following:

-durability
-price that wont kill the wallet (don't have a lot to spend on firearms parts right now)
-adjustable below 4 lbs
-single stage only

I am open to all options, thanks all!

Aside from having a little heavy pull weight there is not too much wrong with the factory trigger.

I put a JP Enterprises reduced power spring kit from Brownells in my factory Stag trigger and am quite happy with it. It's smooth and the pull weight is reduced enough to make a noticeable difference. The only issue is the odd light strike with hard primers in surplus like the Hirtenberger but North American manufactured commercial ammo with softer primers has been 100%.

It's the cheapest "upgrade" you can do to a factory trigger and it still matches all your criteria.

If you don't have a lot of money to spend, don't upgrade your trigger. If your LPK came with a trigger use that one until you can afford a proper upgrade. For 100$ the ALG ACT is not a bad trigger, but its no Hiperfire or Geissele...

The trigger is one of the most important parts of the gun along with the optics and the barrel. Don't skimp on those parts. I wouldn't trade my Hiperfire Hipertouch Eclipse for anything. Best 400$ I ever spent on the rifle.

ALG ACT is more than adequate for any person. Use the light spring. Expensive triggers are a ####ing meme.

larue MBT is $80 USD

Get A z z tech or IRG to import for you

Thanks for all the ideas boys, I appreciate it. I ended up going with the ALG Act. I like the way the trigger feels, but I am not made of money, and I like the fact that it's a milspec trigger. ALG is giesselles sister company which is nice to hear.

I like my Velocity 3lb flat trigger. Zero creep, short reset, and crisp break. Good value too. Just make sure you follow the instructions for installation.
