I just recieved my "new to me" Defender today :dancingbanana:
Although it's not my 1st Win. pump, its my first Defender style pump. This will ride with me this fall for road chickens. I can't wait to shoost her at the range:rockOn:

Well......I drive a FORD 97 F-150.with 237,000km, but yesterday while driving to my folks in Saskatchistan(from Wainwright(536km)) my electrical went in my steering column...I think? So now, unfortunately I have to sell to pay for repairs..............It was a short ownership I guess!!

:If its got 4 wheels its junk when you have to work on it! Or at least thats what I think. The Defender should be pretty cool. Too bad you wont be able to take it on your road trips. I just missed out on a N I B Defender last fall by about one week.

The 1300 is definately faster to cycle, weighs less and carries well. I say this because I own two allready. The only experience I have with the 870 is the DND one, which was nice to shoot too. I may even pick one up someday in the cantilever deer bbl version.
You can simply type Win, 1300 on Google and there are some reviews listed in there.

defenders, are my choice for making home invader spagetti, so i trust em. alot. shot lots through em. as for vehicle. 2004 jeep tj rubicon. lifted, big arse tires, custom front and rear bumpers, lockers, man life is good..lol... if i could only have a sort of open air shotgun holster in the jeep =) like the cops had in thier cars.

only problem mine has ever had besides operator short stroking the action was the small extractor simply tearing a chunk out of hull and leaving it in the chamber with really hot loads (federal 3" flite control turkey loads)
