LOADOUTweb.jpg

10 30 round mags for primary, 3 ten round mags for secondary, large IFAK, GPS, Flashlight and batteries for all the ad nauseum do-dads......

Ammo in a gunfight is like bubblegum in grade school...

You'd better have enough for everybody or you're in trouble.

Well do you got enough bubble gum for everybody?

Sorry this is my load out,

I heard the rule of thumb was 6 mags into trouble and 4 mags to get out of trouble.

That nugget seems to have come from the PPCLI Roto 1 or 2. There were several blogs and internet digests that were circulating as everybody was very curious to know how the boys were doing and what was working. The way I remember the 6 and 4 comment was, 6 mags to start the firefight and 4 to finish it.

Are you answering my question as to what those items are? If so, whaaaa?
No idea what those gadgets are, but the point about the GPS receiver is a matter of OPSEC. GPS receivers with classified locations are like tracers; they work incoming and outgoing.

You lost me there. Unless they are captured by the enemy how are do they work "out-going" seeing as they are receivers only and not transmitters? The mil ones are not the Garmin Rhino types.

Geebus... You'd neverget away with all this talk about "load out" gear over on ArfCom...:D

I mean... revealing these secretes to the enemy might cause the downfall of western democracy and civilization:runaway:

Ummmmm....GPS only works one way it's a RECEIVER the onl;y way a GPS can be of assistance to the bad guys is if captured with one that is not zeroized, then again who the #### are you to accuse anyone of an OPSEC violation?
