I really like ordering from xreload and a couple other small places but I can’t seem to find anyone else out there that has the stock like x dose. Can anyone suggest any other suppliers?

Budget Shooter Supply?

^^^ This right here.
Henry is great to deal with. Shipping supplies to me is a bit tricky but a couple emails back and forth and I was all set. I do have to add he has actually been to Norman Wells (travelled down the Mackenzie river on a jet ski no less) so TOTALLY got the isolation aspect.

I have had great service from Henry at budget.
Also used X-reload with great results
Mystic precision is another great company

Just got a order from reliable gun.
Not reloading stuff tho

Nobody sends a better shipping notification then Henry does that’s for sure.
Never gets old.

That being said, I’ve ordered from Western Metals a few times. Mostly because they’re local to me.

If you're reloading common stuff, try Lawry's Shooting Sports. I have no idea what they're shipping is like as I live close enough to pick up in person.

Prices are usually pretty decent but again, I don't know how true that is with shipping in the cost.

There's a lot to be said for a local gun store for really heavy stuff like bullets, shot, and ammo. Saves shipping costs, at least the one near me will even sometimes help carry the weight out to my car, and supporting them helps build goodwill when you need a spot of gunsmithing or advice or whatever.

If you're a member of a club that has a shotgun division, or know someone who is, many shotgun clubs in Canada buy their clay targets by the semi-trailer load from Lawry's. Mine does that at least once a year. Personal powder and shot orders have been piggybacked on the club target orders free of shipping charges in the past in our case.
All we do is call Lawry's in person once we know a target order is being placed, pay for powder, shot, primers, etc with a credit card and they add a pallet to the load.

I've gotten stuff from Budget Shooter and X-reload. The shipping is a killer. So I usually get most of my stuff from Tenda. Their price is great and they offer free shipping on large orders for those of you who aren't close.

Right now they have CCI small pistol primer & Federal small pistol magnum primers listed for $39.99 per 1000/box on their website. Vista Outdoors has a 20% rebate on reloading supplies purchased through June 30th. I'd stock up if I didn't already picked up 3 boxes this past weekend.

Damn, that's not a bad idea. I'd be doing that if I didn't live close enough to Lawry's just to pick it up myself.

Semi-related, but I've been playing with the idea of buying a pallet of targets for personal use but it's a bit more than I can afford all at once and I don't know how I'd get it home (no truck) or where I'd store it. But it'd last me years.

Henry did the Mackenzie on a jet ski...? Wow.

Anyway, another vote for Budget Shooter Supply.

Thanks for the vote!
The trip was from Hay River to Yellowknife to visit some in-laws, then to the top of the Mackenzie down to the Arctic Ocean and around the corner to Tuktoyuktuk. Then back to Inuvik & trucked the Jetski home. It was a great trip & the people are so friendly.

Regards, Henry

Hi greywolf67nt
Thanks for the shout out! Say Hi to Kevin at Wellputer for me. I just found his card buried in some stuff I had left over from the trip.

Regards, Henry
