M14 detailed blueprints, articles and manuals on-line

cant see em, not a member

Sorry.... :(

However, you can register for FREE..... :)

If we don't have people register with legitimate email addresses, we get plastered with posts from spammers sellling on-line presciption drugs and advertising ####ography sites.

We've got more interesting video material (Garand, AR10, AR15 etc) coming on-line in the next week. ;)

Badger

SWEET!! That's awesome, thanks! :D
Awesome.. well I guess I know what my next 3d model project is going to be!
Is there any with a full side view of the rifle?
:D X2 !! Make sure you post anything in the CAD thread I started. Perhaps we can work together....? You use ProE? You know how to Step stuff out?
Damn, thats not what I wanted to hear!

God, I hate doing the measuring myself... and here I was hoping to be handed it on a silver platter.
Well are they REALLY M14 prints or are they M1A Prints? M1A would be no problem for parts measurements but I bet Real M14 parts are harder to come by....

Well the details of the gas system, barrel, trigger mechanism, sights, stock and of course the naughty bits  would be nice ...

I'll do some digging and see what I can find....

In the meantime, we've put several new videos, articles and manuals on-line, relating to the M16, ,AR10, SKS, AK47 and Garand. Some are modern, but many are also vintage from the 1940's through the 1960's.

They have been added to the Technical Articles/Research for Milsurp Collectors and Re-loaders (click here)http://www.milsurps.com/forumdisplay.php?f=25 and also "The Screening Room" (click here)http://www.milsurps.com/forumdisplay.php?f=46.

Here's a few sample links to them:

Wally: No I don't use CAD. As disappointing to you as that may be, the model would just be for my personal use. I use Lightwave which is a more visual oriented program but the newest Ver has a CAD app so Ill have to look into that!

But I am willing to learn thats for sure... Ill have to take a gander at this ProE. I may be sending some questions your way at some point!

Oh ok, gotcha. So lightwave is like a 3DS-max typa program? My buddy uses Modo and swears by it http://www.luxology.com/ He says it's awesome, powerful and easy. He was showing me some of the stuff he's doing with it and it's pretty crazy. Texture baking and 3D colour application etc.

Yeah ProE is pretty cool. Catia is good too. feel free to send any Q's. The nice thing about those programs is that they actually use dimensions and stuff so you get deadly accurate models.

Yeah, Modo is made by the original team who made Lightwave, they are quite similar.

Anyway back to the thread at hand! BLUE PRINTS!
