Has anyone here had an opportunity to look at one in person? Hope it turns out better than the Ruger GL. Moreover, one with double triggers would have been more appealing

It doesn't look too bad, and I like the straight stock. Similar lines to my english SxS. Something that would improve it a little more, to my eye, is sidelocks.

A true sidelock with minimum quality standard will also jack the price much further up that what it is right now - MSRP USD2300

You're quite right, but nothing sets off the look of a straight stock SxS like the looks of a side lock action.

What happened to the second trigger on that gun?

I like the look of a trim boxlock or trigger plate action particularly the round actions. The worst however is false sideplates tacked on to a boxlock.

You're right, nothing the matter with a boxlock action. I have a couple of each but to my eye, on a straight stock SxS, I just prefer the look of the sidelock set up.
