Got this from Rob awhile ago. Classic stock lines done in nice walnut. Solid Mauser 98 action. Steel grip cap.30/06. Timeless quality in a production gun.

An H&R, no less! A really nice classic look to that one! I have sorted through several "classic look" 30-06 rifles, and have likely settled on a NAACO Mpdel 90D 30-06 with an FN action.

Another very nice production classic rifle was the FN supreme grades. Beautiful stocks shape and a solid Mauser action. I believe they were rust blued as well.

JC Higgins is another with the FN action and a chrome lined High Standard barrel.

Yup, that would fix up to be a very nice rifle. A new pad and some bedding would be tops on my list. Maybe a stock refinish.
