I would like to hear everyone`s real life experiences with these scopes. Never tried Nikons, thinking about giving them a try.
Thank you, Bob
Has no one bought or tried these yet? I know they are somewhat new but they look pretty decent.

My wife bought one a couple years ago and when I looked through it I was sold on Nikon. Although I had to order a monarch to out do hers lol, but both are fantastic. I’m ordering a set of Nikon Prostaff 7s Binoculars

I've used a prostaff on a slug gun and have monarch as well. They both have good glass and adjustments for their price point. Only thing I don't like is the open circle BDC reticle. Haven't tried the prostaff 5 but I wouldn't be afraid to.

I`ve got a set of their mid grade binoculars, I don`t remember the exact model, and they are actually pretty darn good glass, especially for the price.

I just bought two Nikon Prostaff rimfire scopes and I am pleased with the optics clarity and edge to edge sharpness. Overall manufacturing quality is very good. For the price they are an excellent value.

Yeah, I`m looking at the Prostaff Rimfire 11 4-12x40 BDC 150 to mount on one of my "gopher Killers" I`m not overly enthusiastic about those circles either but if they are accurate it may make for an interesting
combination on a SR-22. For the price I think I may try one.

So heres the thing. The SR-22 is great for killing gophers not spectacular in the target accuracy department. What I am thinking is that those stupid circles may work well for shooting gophers as that is pretty well all that gun does anyway. We shoot gophers with the 22s out to 100 - 125 yards then graduate to small centerfires. Can anyone verify the accuracy of the distance that those circles are supposed to be accurate at? I believe it goes 50 / 75 / 100 / 125 / 150 yards with a standard LR load ie: 36 HP x 1260. It would be cool to just "circle the gopher" instead of using hold over?

I use the Nikon Spot On to figure out each circle for the ammo Im using.

Hi, I have a Prostaff 7 with the BDC feature. I am pleased with this scope and the warranty is awesome. Two years ago I scratched the lens coating on a branch going into some thick cover. I told Nikon it was my fault but they just said send us the scope. I did, and they sent me a brand new one. No charge. Glass is clear and scopes are of good quality.

Ive been using a Nikon Prostaff on my current hunter, a BLR .300 win, and I am very satisfied with it.

Looks great, has helped put multiple animals in the freezer over the years, and has rarely if ever failed.

I have 3 nikon scopes. 2 are monarch 3s and the other is a prostaff. Clarity wise, the prostaff holds its own and but the monarchs have some subtle quality advantages. That being said, I just purchased a tikka t3 hunter in 300winmag and I have the prostaff 5 in my wish list at cabelas right now. I have nothing but good things to say about Nikon. Ill be making this purchase soon and report back however, I am confident that my review will be positive.

Went bino shopping, compared the nikon prostaff 3s and 7s, vortex crossfire and leupold Marksman. The prostaff 7s and leupold Marksman were pretty close to each other, and the 3s were on par with the crossfire (which are priced well above the 3s). I was going to get the leupold Marksman because they were on sale for cheaper, but then I found some leupold Acadia bx2 in the bargain cave for $175 so I bought those. I would have a hard time choosing between the 7s and leupold Marksman were they the same price (and the 7s list price is $300 vs $350 for the leupolds. The crossfire are also $300 list price and compare very poorly to the 7s)
