I will own this till I die .

Yep, I have a Browning BPS Gold Medallion in 16ga that has really nice walnut stock and deep rich bluing to die for. I love this gun, but I also use it. I can't bear to leave it in the safe when I go out, but it does have to be nice weather!

I make a point of shooting my older vintage shotguns every year (nice weather of course). The 1901 LC Smith 12 ga. fits me well and I always wonder how many others packed this around before me. Just about broke it in half one day and have smartened up considerably :). Use all my old tools and old guns fit right in with that sentiment. It is a personal thing and there are certainly other opinions on this aspect of gun collecting. It is certainly collecting as I certainly do not need the number of guns currently residing on the cabinet.

I agree with some of the posters above. Guns are meant to be used even if only lightly for some of the higher grades.

They are a nice gun and collectable
Hope you got the box with it since it was special also
Cheers

To each their own. Most are indeed not collectible but the fun is keeping the one that proves to be

Me if I like it and plan to keep it but want to shoot it I normally buy two
One to keep and one to save
Cheers

Some guns that I'd rather fondle, more than I would any super model. Women get so weirded out when you start rubbing them down with an oily rag.

I feel the same about my V Bernadelli Italia hammer gun .It will never be for sale by me.It is in mint condition and had only a box of shells fired thru it when I bought it.
