Hey guys,

Shooting my T1x .22LR this morning. Zeroed at 50 meters.

Shooting 100 meters I hold over 5 MOA. It’s bang on.

Tried shooting 200 meters (for kicks) this morning and I couldn’t hit paper to save my life. I use the Hornady app and it was telling me I needed to add 44 MOA. That sounds crazy to me.

I’m shooting CCI SV 40g .22LR

What does my hold over need to be at 200 meters???

100 m is pushing the 22 lr.
200 m ?

100m I'm putting 1" to 1.5" groups together - not kidding. I'm spending more time at 100m than 50 meters nowadays. This T1x is 1/2" groups at 50m all day long.

200m, although I'm not expecting much, hitting paper would be a good start. What's the adjustment? Did I screw something up in the settings on the app? Must have.

100 meters is reaching out there for 22LR, 200 meters is a bit nutty. lol If you zero @ 50 yards using SV ammo, the drop @ 200 yards is what..almost 5 feet? lol That IS a ton of elevation adjustment if you're trying to compensate for that much drop using the scope alone. I push it that far (even further a few times) using my CZ in 22LR...but I literally holdover that far and have my buddy spot for me. Very technical approach, "walking" in the shots. lol

Oh I hear ya lol. I'm just curious what type of 5 shot group is achievable at 200 meters :). 6" groups haha.

Either way, I'm just curious. So 44 MOA might be right?

Not to get off topic but ... 200 metres for a .22lr is not that crazy? As long as you understand how much drop your dealing with, and the wind is not crazy, you can plink at 200m with a .22lr. We shoot our CZ 452 lux's at 8" steel plates at 150 to 200 yards and I'd say we ring steel 75% of the shots.

This is promising information! I watched a YouTube video with a guys shooting his T1x at 400 yards... 12" plate - didn't do too badly :)

Using RWS Pistol Match at 275 yards I was up 33 on the scope and holding high another 3ish MOA shooting pop cans, so total about 36 MOA.

With Ely Force I dial up about 31.5 for 275 yards

That's up from a 100 yard zero. and at about 70 degrees F.

You should be able to hit pop cans at 300 if the weather is calm and mirage is light.

Here's a video from last Saturday.

I love this! Great video, and nice rifle! Those are beautiful shots from 275! Too much fun, and proves the capability of these little .22LR's. Cheap, fun plinking! I enjoy the bigger calibers, but my .22LR is my favourite of them all. You can shoot all day, non-stop, super cheap! I'm fortune mine likes CCI SV. I've tried SK Rifle Match, most Eley options, and the CCI SV always pulls out ahead. Just looked at my groupings at 100 meters today. of 15 targets (15 targets on a single splatter target sheet) I had 4 groups under an inch. At 50 meters I had almost all of them under 1/2" and two at .3" :). Never gets old!!!

I have taken my 22s to 300yds on 12” steel plates. Rested almost always 100% hits

I have a 8” plate at 140yrd off my back deck.
My cz452 with a 75yrd zero and CCI standard. I am about 10” of hold over.
Great offhand shooting practice every day.

I find this funny, I frequently do 300 and a pop can at 200 is not that hard, will you hit it 100 % of the time no, but 80% is achievable. Yes the drop is crazy but so is a 308 at 1000, guys have been doing it for a long time

I shot a Sako HB. P94 Finnfire with a 6500 elite scope on it gophers at 200yrs lots , bottom dot on the scope was right on ,zero, I forgot, been a while, 100yrs maybe. If I could see it, I could hit it , Most of the time if no wind, I am thinking about 6-7ft drop Hit them at that range ,a 22 h.p will blow them up. Tumbling??
