I realize it would be nowhere as easy as the AR-15 series, what with uppers and lowers and all that jazz, but is it even possible (or feasible) to rebarrel an AR180B to a different caliber ? Just wondering aloud.

Anything is possible with enough time and money. You'd likely have to have a custom barrel made. I'm not seeing any aftermarket barrels or anything else but scope mounting bases for them. Even from Armalite. They seem to be concentrating on their AR-10.

That's the one, the STICKIED one, as stated. You get a better sense of a post's meaning if you actually read all the words.

Relax, jj. I'm just joshing with ya. :p I read the sticky, even found somewhat of an answer:

"Q: Can I put a different or AR15 barrel on the AR180B?
A: Sure, you could have custom barrel made up but that would probably cost the same if not more than the complete rifle.

Apparently, the AR15 barrels and AR180B barrels have the same threads. One could theoretically thread an AR15 barrel into the AR180B barrel trunnion. Setting the head spacing would be required and the gas hole would most likely not line up. It may be possible to make an AR15 barrel work if the gas hole was drilled specifically for the AR180B. I intend to try this some day."

... but I still don't see where anyone has yet seriously attempted a rebarrel job on an AR180B. Thanks for your help, though.
