I'm waiting for a 300 blk barrel now for my build. What length is that one. I went 10 inch with a pistol gas length. Cool looking unit.

Nice work. I just had mine out (9” pistol length) a few weeks ago and it was an absolute blast!!! Just had an issue with short stroking with subsonic rounds but nothing that won’t be sorted out with a buffer swap or at worst case a spring change.

Noticed it's a 1/8, all the barrels I came across were 1/7. What grain were you planning to shoot with it? I think I'm limited to 200 gr or less with mine, any thoughts? I have been trying to get lots of opinions from anybody I can ask.

Thanks
Corey

Some factory subsonic loads won't cycle a semi auto. I found the Hornady 208gr subs wouldn't cycle a couple of my AR's. It's probably the ammo more than it's the rifle

We're in Canada, those are all rifles as far as anything here matters. (Just noticed you're from North Dakota, hence the pistol designation).
Nice collection, I've owned a few 300BLK rifles over the years, still have my 16 inch bolt action and my non restricted ACR with 300BLK conversion (home built). Love the cartridge but until you're handloading for it you're missing out on a lot it has to offer (without paying a premium for ammo).

Don't worry about your twist rate, you're not shooting long range precision with it. It will stabilize well enough for the 100 yards you're going to be shooting 200+ grain stuff subsonic.
My ACR conversion and one of the AR's I sold were both 8 twist, no problems with any ammo shooting well at practical distances a 300BLK would be used at.
Best subsonic load I've found so far has actually been with a 150gr FMJ over Trailboss but it won't cycle a semi auto (awesome in my bolt action though).
