We had a wonderful day of shooting today with 35 people, one for each degree of heat we were able to enjoy. I'd gladly take this weather over ice and snow. Fortunately only a few people were affected by the weather and we see some fantastic scores being posted. Congratulations to all of our winners. Many thanks to Iain and Kyle for their help AROing today, and Andrew for running stats. Apologies for not having a working megaphone, despite having two. Improvise, Adapt, Overcome ... right? Great job to everyone on range clean up, the duty patroller found a single piece of brass.
I will not be able to attend match 5, on August 10. We will need a full compliment of staff. Register to shoot or staff here https://practiscore.com/cqbm5-2019/register

Thanks to Andrew , Iain,, Kyle and Andrew for running the day. It was good to see all the familiar faces and some newbies. Bugout good to see you and to meet your Brother whom I assume is Geologist on Cgn?

Big thank you to Kyle, Iain and Andrew for making this a great first match for me! Will be coming out to more of these for sure!

Thanks to Andrew, Iain and Kyle plus all of the other organizers for a great and very well run event.

This was my first CQB experience and I now know that the magazine release on my AR is on the right side of the gun, not the left..........

Thanks to the volunteers Andrew, Iain and Kyle, without whom these matches would not be held. A perfect day, no high winds to rip the Fig 11's off and make them run across the range and over the berm. As expected, the newbie CQB shooter I brought out, my brother Geologist, was made to feel welcome and safe. I've been working on him for years to come shoot CQB, but as a BC resident it is not often aligned right with his visits. Luckily he came out for our mother's 93rd birthday today. As for him reaching for the mag release on the left side for the beginning of the match, he was using all borrowed gear, and usually shoots his Benelli more than his AR.

What a great day, the heat added a bit of a challenge, loved it though. Thanks Andrew as always, thanks to Iain and Kyle for AROing and Andrew for crunching the numbers!
