Hey guys any idea what kind of wood this Finnish M91 could be made of? It’s laminated and looks very similar to the wood used on the standard Russian 91/30 but is a two piece stock with clear indications it is most likely the same wood used on other Finnish M91’s its a VKT 1941.

Doesn't look anything like laminate.

And easy way to tell if a stock is made of laminate (most of the time) is to look at either the top or bottom of the stock. If you can see layers of wood, it's laminate.

mistook it for laminate because it has some shiney residue on the stock near the receiver, having it in hand now i can say that it definitely is not laminate.
