CZ 457 MTR muzzle thread??

Just wondering if anybody knows what thread pitch they are using on the CZ 457 MTR with the 16"bbl at the muzzle? I know it's not 1/2x28" as the brake I have will not thread on.

1/2" -20 is a common north american thread its just standard 1/2'' fine here. 1/2'' 28 is a common euro thread, You can buy a 1/2''-20 tap at the local hardware store good luck finding a 1/2''-28. But most muzzle devices here are for 1/2''-28

What length barrel?

As someone who's looking for an accurate rimfire and has an itch for a CZ I`d be curious to hear your thoughts on it when you get some rounds down the pipe.
 
Reduces the felt recoil by about 30%. Pounding out 500 rounds or so in a session can be rather punishing to one's shoulder ;)

I was a Bushnell fan but now a Vortex guy. I'm really enjoying the Diamondback Tactical 6-24x50 FFP for my shooting application which is shooting off a bench. AND you can't beat their VIP Warranty. I accidentally crushed the tube and wrecked the internals. Sent it in on the Monday and received a brand new one on the Thursday.... NO questions asked... now that's CS.

I rarely shoot for groups at 50 but my 16 inch was in the .3-.4 inch at 50 shooting eley club on its first outing

Mine groups exactly the same as scuba52 with the same ammo and I believe we both have the same lot/batch numbers as well.
 
Had mine out for a run today with the 16” barrel. Did under 0.5 at 50m with Lapua Match and the same with Eley Force.

Federal Automatch was around an inch.

I’m running it with a Viper PST gen2 FFP 3-15, off my bags. So far so good. I’ll stretch it out to 150-200m once I get back to work.
 
Adapters are made to change the thread at the end of your barrel.
Kinda like this one. This one is for a 452 American.

Excellent!

I'm all done with the last of the Subsonic and just switch to the CCI SV. Very wind last weekend but when the wind stop blowing for a sec I tried some groups and quite happy with the results. Grouped pretty good and the chrony data was impressive. Can't wait for a calm day and try some groups again.
