Anyone have one? I am a 25-06 fan, but similar ballistics out of a short action intrigues me.

I believe LaRue offers an AR10 in 25-08 aka 25 Souper. I've always thought that the quarter bore is a great medium game bullet diameter but I don't yet own one. The 110 ELD-X has a pretty high ballistic coefficient: .465 G1 and .234 G7.

That's the route I would go in 25cal on a short action. The shorter case will allow you to seat out bullets to the lands.

OTOH .... The 6.5CM makes much more sense on a bunch of levels.

If the Souper was standardized it would have been a sweetheart - but since it wasn't, stick with the 250-3000, you want more juice go to the 25-06, need still more? The 257wm

Most Ruger factory Robert's rifles are LA... it is definitely the way to go for the cartridge.
