2019 lone butte bc 3gun championships!!!!!!!!

My first Lone Butte match, I was seriously considering not making the drive out. Glad I went, I had a blast! Awesome match! Stages were fun with a good balance of rifle, pistol and shotgun with one all shotgun stage. Two stages required slugs, I love shooting slugs! Lots of steel and clays. Targets could be engaged from a variety of points providing options for tackling the stage. I probably picked the easy safe shot too often and could have picked up my times if I took a few more risks. Prize table was pretty awesome as well.

Lone Butte Volunteer Fire Fighters were on site serving breakfast, lunch and supper raising money for a new fire truck. Since they were out a day there was no rushing to get lunch between stages. You could eat as it fit into your schedule.

Looking forward to going back next year.
 
My 3rd time hitting the match up and it was totally worth the drive. Thank #### no forest fires this year! Thanks again for an amazing match and a huge thank you to all the volunteers that made it all happen! And to all the sponsors who donated for a huge prize table. If you did win something ... please thank the sponsors... it really does go a long way to ensure they help again next year. Now what to use my Wanstalls winnings on ????
 
I got inlaws in 100 mile. Maybe I should practice up and go next year...

Would count for our once a year visit to keep her mother happy and I wouldn't have to visit all weekend long lmao

Couldn't Agree more, make sure the sponsors hear from you and if you can do your best to support them the way they support our matches and sport
