I've owned 10 or 12 Glocks and in my experience they either fit your hand or they don't.

The finger grooves feel good or they are a nuisance. But also the hump on the backstrap fits some hands better than others, and it's in a slightly different location depending on the model. I have really big hands with long, skinny fingers and the G19 actually fills out my palm better. The finger grooves aren't well aligned for my skinny fingers though, so I have tried many different grip sleeves over the years. I ended up settling with the Pachmayr one, which fattens the grip over all (for my long fingers), virtually eliminates the finger grooves (so my skinny fingers aren't forcefully separated) and the G19 hump is still in the right place for me.

TLDR version: handle as many as you can, keeping in mind what a grip sleeve or tape may improve, and buy the one that feels "right."

Gen 4 Glock 19 with 106mm Dlask built, my best Glock, stay away of the Glock 48, i dont like mine, my wife like it but this is personal choice.

I can only vouch for two of them and both where fantastic but the gen 3 slide color stayed the same after 5k rds thru it so i have to go with the 3

Gen 3 RTF2 and gen 4 but g3 takes it

Gen 3 triggers great
Gen 4 triggers garbage
Gen 5 trigger better than gen 3

Had 6 different gen 4s. Sold them all.

I watched alot of reviews and most of them says that the Gen 3 factory trigger is better than Gen 4.

Like I said in my original post, I want to leave the pistol as it came from the factory so I think I will eliminate the Gen 4 even if it gets alot of votes.

That being said, I'm sure the Gen 4 with a couple aftermarket parts are great guns.

Almost every pistols I own is modified/tweaked, I just want one that I can rely on.

I have a Gen 5 and I don't feel like I will ever need a previous generation. There's nothing in those guns that I don't have in mine. Then again if Gen 6 comes out, I'm not going to do the stupid thing a lot of Glock guys do and trade for a newer gun. I'll keep the one I have, because again, this thing is the pinnacle of utilitarianism and I don't see the point of an upgrade for some minor change mostly made for marketing.

I love my gen 3
That being said I've seen enough reviews to know that the gen 5 is the best though.
Improved trigger, built in magwell, marksman barrel, ambi everything. Definitely product improved.

Gen4 for the finger grooves, Gen5 for the ambi controls. And since G doesn't do a model with both, I bought the APX.
