Their first generation mags sucked. The new ones seem excellent.

I couldn't get my Gen1 mag to latch into the bottom metal. Tried it in factory and the Mtn Tactical bottom metal (which is outstanding). I ended up getting store credit from them

It would have been nice to see your velocities with specific ammo before and after cutting down the barrel.

AICS pattern bottom metal would be ideal for more round capacity. But I didnt see the need for it on a hunting rig.
