I read on a forum post on here that the US doesnt allow exports of 50 caliber or greater rifles. I have searched but haven't found any information backing that up. Does anybody know if it's possible to import say a bushmaster ba50 or barrett m99?
I have seen them available for considerably less in the US so I wanted to get one imported
"considerably less" also means no warranty support, and not to mention the associated costs of getting the firearm into Canada.
Warranty support is available if you use the right importer like IRUNGUNS or Az tech. cost to import is under 200.00 for either one of these companies
Only if you can have the firearm legally re-imported back into the US (they don't always allow them back) for support, and also if the manufacturer warranties said firearm, when they find out that it was brought into the country via grey-market, and not their designated distributor.
