The bolt carrier group is in the range of recall, and it was replaced within one week. Great service!
Builts
a. ALG trigger
b. UTG MNT755 and MNT955, from Amazon (I am too into iron sights...)
Number of range trips: 3
The first range trip was a frustration. The firing pin retainer ejected and disappeared in the grass after 20 rounds. Owen sent me a new pin immediately.
The second trip was pretty successful. I tried to sight in my iron sights but I forgot my binocular home...all my shots went low. The good thing was the grouping, not very tight but all the rounds touched the targets. Considering that I changed the position quite a bit, it was satisfactory. However, the new pin was also about to came out and I needed to check it frequently and press it back.
During the third range trip, I replaced it with another AR15 pin ordered online, and it was firm. I sighted in the rifle and I didn't miss a single round from 100 and 200 yards. I would say there are slight scratches, but I don't care.
Other:
a. It has had no feeding issue with original magazines, while once with C-product LAR 15.
b. One screw on the hand guard was super tight and it was...stripped. Anyway I don't need to take down the hand guard so let it be at present.
c. Cleaning is easy
Personal opinion:
It is too early to give a conclusion. We don't have too many NR of 223 semi-automatic options. This rifle is suitable for people who don't want to wait but don't have enough cash for expensive ones.
I like mine.
