I made a post on scorpion vs FX-9 witch the scorpion is prefered by far.

But now im looking at the scorpion vs the kriss vector in 9 mm.The futurist look of the kriss make it appealing and i saw couple of video on youtube seem to be realible !

So kriss owner speak up please !

Thanks !

Are you looking at restricted version or NR? The Kriss is the better NR option as far as aesthetics, but for restricted, it's a toss up.

I had the NR version of the kriss in 9mm. It's a novelty in Canada as far as I'm concerned. The reason is because when I went on a holiday to the states I got to shoot one in full auto and 2 rd burst. IMO thats why these carbines are so good, the neutered Canadian version I had wasn't fun after that so I sold it to finance some pistols. I bet if I never had the true vector experience I would have kept it, but now I get more NR use from my 10/22 and SLR

I used my vector quite a bit and found it to be very reliable and easy to maintain. Thats my 2 bits

Thanks guys, but because of irungun and the new gsg 16 non restricted, ill will have to wait a little further for a kriss vector :)

I just bought the scorpion so I can't speak to it yet. But I have owned 2 vectors. I absolutely loved them. Although I never had reliability problems, I had heard that warranty work and parts availability could be problematic. I sold them for that reason (call it irrational but for 2k I wanted something I knew I could get fixed if it broke).

I was worried about the 5 round limit, but having 5 rounds sees me burning through less ammo and gets me practising reloads more.

I've owned 2 gen 1 Vectors and currently own a gen 2 in 9mm (all non restricted versions and all were 100% reliable). I also own an FX-9, and have owned the Sub2000 and an HK USC in 45.
Out of all of them I think the HK was the highest quality but it's also limited to 5 round magazines and has been discontinued so the $2000ish used price is probably not coming down any further. The USC can be made non restricted but it's not cheap.

I like the FX-9 because it's lighter than the Vector but I think so far the Vector is a little more reliable. Failures have been getting further and further apart with my FX-9 but the Vector worked 100% from day one.

FX-9 and Vector both use Glock mags which is a big plus for me. I like the Scorpion and the MPX but both are 5 rounds only and for me to put up with that they'd have to be substantially better than the other options which I don't think they are. The Sig magazines are also very expensive.

I would buy a new FX-9 or a used Vector if I was in the market for another PCC. Can't really go wrong with either, just pick the one you like better.

Get a FX 9. Or a CX4 if u want something tactical but yet practical. The kriss vector is enormous. And the Scorpion only takes proprietary 5rnd mags.

Between kriss vs Scorpion, id choose Scorpion.

The Vector is definitely thicker but it's actually about the same length overall and only about 1 pound heavier. I hardly notice the difference when going from one to the other. Plus, as I said earlier, the Vector (and all the Vectors I've owned) have so far been more reliable than my FX-9. I'm not unhappy with my FX-9 but when it comes down to nit-picking the Vector seems to be a more reliable platform.
The little extra weight also translates into a smoother shooting firearm. Not that a 9mm PCC has a lot of recoil anyway but the Vector is smoother and keeps the sights on target better than the FX-9.

CX-4 does nothing for me aesthetically, never been interested in them. YMMV

Same for the CX-4,not appealing at all.

The scorpions we have listed are actually considered pistols by ATF and CFO and so have 10 round mags and not 5.

You sure,i dont want to suspicious but i looked at threads about the scorpion and the pistol mags, and it was clearly even if they have a pistol version of it,since the mags are design for the SMG it's a no go for 10 rounds limit... would love to have an official proof of that.
