Sling for Mapleseed?

Happy Long Weekend Everyone.
Been thinking about taking part in a Mapleseed event with my kids, but can't find a "USGI" sling other than one on Amazon for $100....!!!!.....?????
They have been sold out on the Mapleseed website for a while now.
Is there an equivalent sling that can be used and adjusted as required?
Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

My partner and I used a blue force gear sling. A home made one would be fine.

A 1907 pattern sling would work good. Just learn how to install/adjust it first.

I used 1” nylon webbing and a few buckles from various camera straps I had laying around, worked fairly well, I upgraded to a Magpul RLS $35 at cabelas and liked it more . it is wider, 1.25” and stays on the arm better. I tried a BFG sling and did not like it.

I agree. I grabbed one of the RLS slings and find it to be miles ahead of the old school military loop slings for comfort and ease of use. Bargain price too.

I also picked up a Magpul RLS sling for mapleseed but I missed it this year

Any sling with 2 points of adjustment and has quick attachments to both the forend and the stock will work great. As has been mentioned.... Wider is generally more comfortable and less likely to show pulse in your scope.

I ordered a USGI sling from Optics Camp along with some Tech Sights. They ship to Canada.
